Okay, granted we ARE in the desert, but camels aren't exactly native to our land. Thats somewhere far, far away in another desert...a place called The Middle East. But for some reason the other day, they were pretending to be native. Well, at least one was. As apparent by the coming photographs of a camel hanging out in front of Blake's Lotaburger. (And if you haven't been here to eat, yummy. Its a NM eatery.) Anyhoo, Mr. Camel was hanging out with his friend Zony, a pony/zebra mix. And guess who insisted on a $5, 30-second ride?
And don't let his expression fool you. He was ecstatic afterward. He and his best friend Mr. Hulk had a fab time. And not too shabby pictures for being taken with my cell phone! Rock on.
